The Flower Guild

The Flower Guild is a volunteer group which takes responsibility for Sunday’s Sanctuary flowers and small arrangements that are sent out each Monday to Sunday’s visitors and our homebound church members. Volunteers of the Flower Guild make the arrangements and write cards to accompany them. Then a group of wonderfully faithful volunteers deliver them on Mondays. We have no regular source of income but depend on gifts of flowers, memorials, and occasional donations and the profit from the sale of the Christmas and Easter flowers, which have been used to decorate the church. These funds are used to purchase the flowers for our arrangements.
The Flower Guild needs your help in three ways:
1. We need new volunteers to be able to continue our work. We meet on Mondays at 9:30 am. No experience is
necessary.
2. We would appreciate any donations of blossoming shrubs, trees, or flowers that you have in your yard
and that you could share with us to be used in our arrangements. (If you have such a donation, you
can drop it off at the church during normal office hours.)
3. Cash donations are always welcome.
