 Welcome to Hunter Presbyterian Church!

Whether you are a longtime Lexingtonian, a recent arrival to the Hunter church community or one of our many visitors to the Bluegrass region, we want to invite you to join our worship, fellowship, educational and mission opportunities both here at Hunter and in the wider communities we serve.  Here are a few things you might want to know:
 

• We are located just six blocks south of Commonwealth Stadium and right across Nicholasville Road from Central Baptist Hospital.  Click here for map.
• Parking is available both in a lot adjacent to the church and in a lot two houses west on Rosemont Garden (look for the sign).
• We have two worship services:  the first at 8:45 a.m. is a smaller service and communion is served each week; the second service is at 11:00 a.m. and communion is served the first Sunday of each month.  During July and the first two weeks of August, there is only one service at 10:00.
• Sunday School begins at 9:30 and ends at 10:30, followed by a time of fellowship with coffee and a light snack in the fellowship hall downstairs.  Classes meet on the first floor of the education building.
• Child care is provided from 8:30 to 12:15.
• Our facility is handicapped accessible from the parking lot adjacent to the building.  Follow the ramp behind the building into the fellowship hall.  There is elevator service from the fellowship hall of the basement to the first floor where you will find the sanctuary, the adult Sunday School rooms, the library and the pastor's office.
• Young families often include their children in our worship but children ages three through second grade may enjoy attending our Worship and Wonder program. Children leave the sanctuary immediately following the children's sermon.  Parents with children younger than three may take advantage of the nursery services which are provided on the third floor of the education building.
• As a congregation we are all mindful of the Reformed Christian tradition, but, seeking God's guidance and grace, we are always reforming.
