  • We are a congregation of about 200, located near Central Baptist Hospital, on Rosemont Garden just off Nicholasville Road.  Founded in 1931 as a Sunday School outreach of First Presbyterian Church, we are one of few mid-city churches that have chosen to stay where we were planted. 
  • Hunter has a long-standing commitment to involving as much of the congregation as possible:  in outreach and in fellowship.
  • We believe you will find a warm welcome -- single or married, with or without children, young or old.  We believe we welcome everyone who walks or rolls through the doors. 
  • We believe that you will find not only comfort, but the opportunity to comfort others. 
  • We believe that you will find challenge:  to trust God more deeply, to take risks for the sake of your faith, to give without reservation and with joy.
